Absolutely rolling around on the floor laughing – I know, I’m supposed to say ROTFL but this is for the benefit of those who don’t know what ROTFL means! I just spotted my last post on my Facebook page and that caused the ROTFL because the Facebook page showed my mugshot [of course!] and it looked like I was saying I was falling for it [my mugshot] and not the lovely photo at the top of my blog page. When things are being “cross-posted” I really must think more about how it’s going to look on the other platform!
What should I do? I was going to create a special tailor-made image for the header but this one is so lovely – I’m falling for it !
- Geelong and District – covering local and family history in the greater Barwon region
- My ancestors’arrivals – where they came from and why
I also want to stay rather flexible with the layout so I can “play” with the different themes. For the moment I’m sticking to free themes and I just want to experiment … click on a theme and change everything.
I also need to remind myself of the different settings, tools, appearances etc. that make WordPress so much fun to use.
Last week I was talking to a country historical society about how they could use WordPress for their web site and their blog. Perhaps I’ll do some more blogs on just how to use WordPress for that. In the meantime I’ll find a photo to add because I don’t like blogs without photos! 🙂 … Susie Zada
